Reminding us why we all love Beyonce even if we aren't fans of the music, Beyonce recently stopped in the middle of one of her concerts just to sing Happy Birthday to a fan in the audience. Talk about best birthday ever!
Shehnez Kahn was already having a pretty great birthday as she was at the front at a Beyonce concert. Holding up a sign saying it was her birthday, and wearing a birthday bag, unsurprisingly she was spotted by the singer. Beyonce gave her a nod pretty early on in the show, which is about all you'd expect. But then she walked over, stopping the concert to talk to the birthday girl, before singing Happy Birthday to her whilst holding her hand.
Shehnez recorded the whole thing on her phone (and it came out surprisingly well for a phone video at a gig), at the Birmingham show. Beyonce's management then took it one step further, upgrading Shehnez and 5 of her friends to the VIP area.
So let that be a lesson. Actually two: 1) Beyonce is awesome, and 2) If it's your birthday make sure everyone knows it just in case.
