Man Convicted of Selling Play-Doh as Ecstasy

Yet again we have a case of something ridiculous being sold as drugs. Successfully. Whilst possibly less ridiculous than the hash/rice krispie situation of a few weeks ago, it’s still pretty amazing to think that a guy’s been going around passing off a kids toy as ecstasy.

A 20 year old man in Wisconsin has been convicted of two charges of falsely manufacturing restricted substances. One of these two charges is the shaping of play-doh into pills and selling them as ecstasy. The other shines a less stupid light on his customers, as flour is much more believable as cocaine than play-doh is as E.

So technically, all those stories from PHSE at school about not getting what you think you’re getting when you buy drugs ARE true. It’s just they’re cutting it with kids toys and cereals instead of loo-cleaner and rat-poison.
