The Sheffield lads are back at Reading and Leeds to play the
headline slot at one of the UK's biggest and best festivals. They are joining
Blink 182 as the other main attraction with one more stellar name expected to
be announced in the coming weeks.
The band first played in 2005 when they played on a small side
stage in front of a few hundred people, since then they have been catapulted
into stardom and have been one of the UK’s finest exports over recent years.
They are also pencilled in for a further headline appearance at T in the Park
later this year.
It will be something of a home coming show for the Yorkshire lads when
they play at Braham Park after admitting that they attended the festival as 15
year olds and citing the festival for a lot of inspiriation for their music. Check out their last Leeds and Reading appearance from 2009 below.
Along with the Arctics, also announced were Courteeners, The 1975, Netsky, Annie Mac, Royal Blood, Architects, Pusha T and Krept and Konan. Keeping in the traditions of Reading and Leeds that there really is something to suit everyone’s taste of genre.
