Convicted mass murderer Anders Breivik has demanded better video games and improved conditions in his prison cell or he will go on hunger strike.
He has described the living conditions of his solitary confinement cell as being "like hell", in a letter to prison authorities. The letter contains 12 demands that he says will result in him going on hunger strike if not met.
These demands of his include a "more adult selection of video games", more suited to games he would play, (because giving a bomb-making gun-man a game like Call of Duty is a great idea), upgrading his Playstation 2 to a Playstation 3, a computer in place of his "worthless" typewriter, and a more comfortable replacement to the "painful" chair in his cell.
Because the petty requests of child killing white supremist are, of course, the main priorities of prison authorities.
He had the audacity to send news agency AFP the letter in November, saying the following;
"You've put me in hell ... and I won't manage to survive that long. You are killing me," he wrote in a letter to prison authorities In November. "If I die, all of Europe's right-wing extremists will know exactly who it was that tortured me to death. That could have consequences for certain individuals in the short term but also when Norway is once again ruled by a fascist regime in 13 to 40 years from now."
Also, he is asking for his weekly allowance to be doubled, from £30 to £60. What a man in prison needs an allowance equal to roughly a students basic wage for, is anyone's guess.
The fascist murdered 77 people in July 2011, killing eight people in a bomb attack on a government building and 69 people, mostly teenagers, in a frenzied gun attack on a youth camp.
He is currently being held in Ila jail, near Oslo and Skien, under a 21 year sentence for his crimes.
