A real life Bart Simpson? Let’s check the facts. Ten years
old? Check. Able to drive a car? Check. Tells outlandish lies to try and get
out of trouble? Check. This kid is so cool we can’t tell you his name in case
you all fly to Norway and start camping outside his house.
The unnamed kid from Norway (who we’re just going to call
Bart and save everyone some time) decided he wanted to go and see his
grandparents. That’s pretty sweet. His 18 month old sister wanted to come to,
which is also cute. For whatever reason, the parents weren’t on the same page.
So Bart the problem-solver snuck his sister into his parents’
car whilst they were sleeping, got behind the wheel and started the 60km drive.
He got 10km in (an impressive start) before driving into a ditch and being found by a snowplough driver,
who alerted the police. What does Bart do? He tells them that he’s a dwarf and
he forgot his licence at home. Beautiful.
Shockingly, the police didn’t buy it, and sent the kids and
the car home, all completely unscathed. We’re not sure how the parents are
taking it, but there’s a pretty good chance that both Bart and the car keys are
under constant adult supervision.
